Aradia was the name of a "Gospel of the Witches" popular among Italian sorceresses in the 19th Century. We thought it was just this contemplative young lady's name, but that just shows you what Wikipedia knows a lot more than we do.
Then again, maybe it is also her name, and not just the book she's (not) reading? If it isn't, what is her name?
Mystery abounds with this dreamy figurine, which stands (well, sits) approximately 13cm tall. Perhaps, in time, she'll come out of her trance and tell us what her name is; or perhaps she'll just get up and wander blearily into the kitchen for a cup of tea and some hob-nobs, leaving us all to wonder on.
